All of us are born with leadership qualities but many of us tend to lose focus. As a consequence, our leadership qualities quietly start eroding away. I was no different, because during my early teens I was very distracted and lost some of my earlier spark. But then a miracle happened when one fine day it dawned upon me to realize the need to have a mission in life.
This got coupled with the vision of my calling : to play an important role in the hospitality industry as an expert chef. After joining a professional undergraduate program in Culinary Arts at ITM IHM Oshiwara, things started falling into place. Every day, I explored the magical world of playing around with condiments and ingredients that turn food into magic. Moving around with passionate mentors and dynamic fellow students is adding to my learning process. I have been incorporating valuable learnings of this field into my life system and unlearning many misconceptions.
But the most important achievement is my ability to word out my mission statement. It goes this way : " As a culinary professional I aim to craft experiences that inspire people to respect food for it's aesthetics, scientific value and artistic expression."
I am slowly getting ideas into how to go about. But after a good number of viability tests that I aim to conduct in the following couple of years, I will be able to focus into developing a concrete strategy. The path seems to be challenging and maybe daunting , but that is what excites me. I am looking forward to charter this roller-coaster of a flight!
